Our Team

I specialize in adults struggling with everyday stressors that may result in anxiety or even depression. I have experience in women's health such as infertility and maternity. No matter the topic, I understand clients want to have a safe space to work through their conflict. I am here as a resource and guide to ease symptoms they may be experiencing.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years experience in the field. I have a bachelors and masters in Social Work. I help clients explore their emotions, life events and goals in a supportive and collaborative environment. I strive to empower my clients to take an active role in their treatment. I use a CBT focused approach.

My main priority with clients is to create a safe space that is free from judgment or criticism. I pride myself in ensuring clients have something tangible to take away from a session whether it be a coping mechanism to practice or some thoughts to reflect upon. I want to make sure that working on yourself does not stop after the session is over.

Adult & Couples Therapist

In our lives we all face challenging situations and circumstances. During these times it is helpful to have support to assist in managing these situations.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ready to bring my experience in mental health and substance use challenges to our sessions. I utilize therapeutic techniques that are well-researched and found to be empirically valid and effective.

I believe that therapy can be a useful tool to help develop more self-awareness, reduce stress and find life more meaningful. Our work together may include processing life experiences, identify current emotional responses, and engaging in skill building work to improve coping. Together, we can work through the current challenges you may be facing and identify positive paths toward change and healing.

Adult Therapist

I approach therapy with warmth, empathy, and a genuine desire to help you feel heard and supported. I firmly believe that therapy is a partnership and that you have the strength within you to overcome challenges and embrace personal growth. Together, we will build a plan to move forward in a meaningful way.

In my practice, I work with individuals who are facing the painful effects of grief—whether it’s the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or other life changes.

In addition, in my practice, I work with families who have been impacted by a loved one struggling with an eating disorder. Family involvement in their loved one’s treatment is crucial to their recovery. Eating disorders can significantly impact family dynamics. Parents and siblings of individuals with eating disorders may experience psychological and physical distress due to increased caregiver responsibilities. The illness can disrupt communication patterns, strain relationships, and create tension within the family, especially around mealtimes.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel to confront these challenges, but with the right support, transformation is not only possible but achievable. My approach blends traditional talk therapy with evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Crisis Intervention and Management, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques, to address both the mind and body in healing. Being an LCSW with over 30 years of experience, I want to connect clients with resources and tools to be able to cope and manage outside of our sessions.

Child & Adolescent Therapist

I am a therapist who specializes in the mental health and emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and their families. I have worked extensively in schools as a school counselor in the Northern Virginia area, supporting children and adolescents through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, trauma, grief, behavioral and emotional concerns, and family changes such as separation, divorce, and relocation.

I utilize a warm, empathetic, and solution-focused approach to create a supportive environment where children and teens feel heard and are empowered to grow. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), neuroscience strategies, trauma-informed care, and creative counseling modalities to support emotional exploration, build coping skills, and enhance overall well-being. Each session is tailored to meet the unique developmental and emotional needs of the individual.

I strongly believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with parents and family systems to ensure consistent support across home, school, and social settings. My goal is to help children and adolescents build resilience, strengthen emotional intelligence, and develop a strong sense of self to thrive in their daily lives.
